Chris Brown’s Dad Says Son’s Rihanna ‘Do Over’ is Bad News

*Celebrity dysfunctional on again, off again couple, Chris Brown and Rihanna has not only enlivened worry within the hearts and minds of concerned fans, observers, and passersby, but also their parents.

We don’t hear much from Chris Brown’s family about the matters between the two young, reckless artists, but in an interview with the New York Daily News, Clinton Brown (pictured below) made it clear that he’d rather his son find a new lover.

“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together,” said Clinton Brown, 48. “You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.”

Since their domestic dispute in 2009 and the near crashing of Chris’ career, it’s been a total drama frenzy among the pair, together and separate. However, they’ve managed to get back together and make something work, but much to the dismay of fans, and even Oprah.

And for young Breezy, he’s had a heap of mess all on his own.

In January, he got into a fight with Frank Ocean over a parking space. February he wrecked his Porsche. And just a couple of weeks ago, was accused of not completing his community service, required after assaulting Rihanna.

Oh and let’s not forget the club fight with Drake and his crew last year.

Yeah, drama.

Sounds like someone is overdue for counseling.

Daddy Breezy says he’s headed nowhere fast and believes his relationship with Rihanna will end in tragedy.

“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on!”

Clinton and Chris’ mother, Joyce Hawkins, split when the singer was only 6 years old. But he’s remained active in his life.
