*Cissy Houston is telling all the business about her late daughter, Whitney Houston.
The book has been described as “honest and heartbreaking, a mother’s story of tears, joy, and her greatest love of all – her daughter, Whitney.”
She tells the story of her daughter from her first musical steps in the church choir, to her destructive drug addictions intermingled with her success.
“She started partying and she didn’t really know how to stop,” says Cissy. “I used to wonder what she was doing at night, where she was.”
The grieved mother also admits that she doesn’t blame Bobby Brown for her daughter’s drug use, but she holds him responsible for the way he treated her.
Overall, Whitney’s death still lingers, tormenting her.
“I’m angry she died alone, in those conditions,” she says. “I’m still mad about that.”
