On August 12\, from 2:00 PM\, Mayor Holmes and Councilman Hicks will be hosting a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway event at the Center Court of South Bay Pavilion Mall\, located at 20700 Avalon Blvd. Carson\, CA 90746. \nThe Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway is a significant endeavor that aims to ensure children in Carson have the necessary tools and resources to embark on a successful academic year. Recognizing the importance of education and the challenges that many families face in providing essential school supplies\, Mayor Davis-Holmes and Councilman Hicks is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of local children. \nDuring the event\, Mayor Davis-Holmes and Councilman Hicks will personally hand out backpacks filled with essential school supplies to all attending children.
